hi all, im 14 wks and lower back pain is starting, what are the best ways to relieve it? i was thinking of getting one of those body pillows, but will they really help?

Try visiting a physical therapist. They might recommend you to get a pre-natal massage (which is not harmful to the baby of course)

Don't work out too much, and do not carry heavy objects (and or children). Take it easy and try to relax.

It is an unavoidable fact of pregnancy, and pretty soon, it would either be you get tired of it or get used to it.

Pre-natal massages work pretty well and I hear there are exercises to keep your body in shape and pain-free.

Try checking out www.babycenter.com for articles on these. They have lots of articles on coping with pregnancy related issues.

Good luck and congratulations!

it seems to have some relief on my aches and pains. am i nuts or is there something in antihistamines that would ease aches and pains ?

Antihistamines have a relaxing effect - that's why they make you sleepy. So in all probability, you could see some relief.
